Tribute to Rachel Corrie

8 03 2008

On the anniversary of the murder of peace activist Rachel Corrie – an American Student who laid down her life trying to stop demoltion of a Palestinian Home, let’s pay special tribute to her courage, honesty and care for humanity.

Rachel Corrie was murdered on 16th of March 2003, there have been attempts to dishonour her memory by claiming that Rachel was killed accidentally when she ran in front of the bulldozer. Eye-witnesses to the murder insist that this is totally untrue. Rachel was sitting in the path of the bulldozer as it advanced towards her. When the bulldozer refused to stop or turn aside she climbed up onto the mound of dirt and rubble being gathered in front of it wearing a fluorescent jacket to look directly at the driver who kept on advancing. The bulldozer continued to advance so that she was pulled under the pile of dirt and rubble. After she had disappeared from view the driver kept advancing until the bulldozer was completely on top of her. The driver did not lift the bulldozer blade and so she was crushed beneath it. Then the driver backed off and the seven other ISM activists taking part in the action rushed to dig out her body. An ambulance rushed her to A-Najar hospital where she died.

I salute Rachel Corrie.

Thank you for reminding us Tia. Rachel Corrie was murdered for believing in truth and justice. People like her make me feel I should be doing more. There is a pogrom against Palestinians, Muslims all over the world. The only way to put a wrench in their machinery is for Muslims to get their acts together.

Unfortunately we dont have kind of Rachel so much in the world. Even some muslims instead of fiding the truth abt what’s going in Gaza, trust the liar medias and point blaming on Gazans too.
after killing 123 gazans who were 32 women and children, you could not find any fotos or reports abt it. They were all extremely silent.

But when those “ultra-extrimist” israelis were murdered in a school which used to produce future leader of Israelis’ villages, all media changed the truth to some unarmed “teenageres” (how funny! Nobody asks if they were unarmed, how they killed the arracker?). then filled the media with fotos and reposts and bla bla abt it.

Alhamdulilah.. God is well-aware of all deads and what’s hidden in hearts. Nobody can escape from Him..

She stoof and fought against state terrorism and stood for the thousands of women killed by the same terrorists in Sabra and Shatila. May she rest in peace.

Rachel, wow, she risked her life for something that meant so much to the people who lived there. The dumb person in the bulldoser was an… an… I can’t say it, but make him go under a bulldoser and suffer………………..
